State Police warned drivers Saturday that fog had spawned a rash of traffic accidents.
Trooper 1st Class Jared Sandifer said La. 61 in East Feliciana Parish had been closed in both directions near La. 68 because multiple vehicles were involved in wrecks.
Sandifer said troopers also investigated accidents in East Baton Rouge Parish on Interstate 10 West near Highland Road, and in Ascension Parish at La. 61 and La. 73.
