CLINTON — Officials of East Feliciana Parish Water District 7 announced Thursday that tests show that water supplied to customers on four rural roads is now safe to drink without disinfecting it.
The advisory about possible contamination was issued last week for residents on Gilead Road, Winchester Lane, Old Liberty Road North and Barnes Lane but was rescinded after further testing, a notice issued by the district says.
