Vet school visit

DETAILS: A self-guided tour will take visitors through the Veterinary Medicine Building, where students, faculty and staff will provide information and exhibits on veterinary medicine. There will also be a teddy bear repair station where children can get their stuffed animal toys “sutured,” a petting zoo, an endoscopy station where children can “fish” for prizes and such animal demonstrations as parades of horse and dog breeds.

Fat Tuesday trip
Take a day trip and celebrate in the Big Easy.
WHAT: The Foundation for Historic Louisiana sponsors an annual Lagniappe Tours excursion to experience Mardi Gras in New Orleans.

WHERE: A luxury motor coach will leave from and return to the Macy’s parking lot at the Mall of Louisiana in Baton Rouge.

DETAILS: The tour includes reserved seats for viewing the world-famous krewes of Rex and Zulu as well as the marching bands, clubs and truck parades. Foundation membership costs $50 for an individual or family.
Off to the Races
