“A vintage dress by Diane von Furstenberg; my grandmother’s faux pearls; tights I bought in London eight years ago at the Sock Shoppe … that’s where the best tights come from, that I’m finally getting to wear; and United Nude shoes I got in New York. It’s a company founded by Dutch architect Rem Koolhaas.”

What’s your favorite trend right now?

I skimp on ...

“Sweaters.”

Are you a shoe or handbag kind of woman?

“That depends on who you talk to.”

How many pairs do you own?

“I have about 50 pairs of shoes … I had to move so I culled through them, and about 30 handbags.”

What’s the one beauty product you can’t live without?

“Obagi Professional C Serum.”

What was your worst fashion mistake?

Your house is on fire and you can grab only one thing out of your closet; what would it be?

“My shearling coats.”
