Six Lowery Middle School students were rewarded for meeting three goals in the Accelerated Reader program for the second nine-week grading period, school officials said.
The students had to achieve at least 85 percent accuracy on reading tests, earn a specified number of points, and read books at or above their reading levels.
The students who met their goals were treated to a pizza party.
Meeting their goals were Huey Himel, Nathan Patterson, Cambrie Reed, Gabrielle Sheppard, Jasmine Williams and Averiana Winfrey.
