Class receives $330 from McDonald’s

Shani Landry, marketing coordinator for McDonald’s in Amite, recently presented Independence Elementary students in Stacey Hager’s fourth-grade class with a check for $330.

Independence Elementary School held a school night at McDonald’s and received 20 percent of all sales proceeds during its allotted time
period.

Landry also provided IES with free french fry and apple pie coupons as incentives for positive behavior.
