Baton Rouge designer Anthony Ryan Auld, a top-four finalist on Lifetime TV’s “Project Runway: All Stars II,” is teaming up with Brother International Corp. and the Office of Lt. Gov. Jay Dardenne to host a viewing of the Jan. 17 finale episode at the Capital Park State Museum, 660 N. Fourth St. The festivities are open to the public and get under way at 7 p.m. with a runway show preview of Auld’s and fellow “All Stars” designer Josh McKinley’s 2013 fall/winter collections.
Auld, an LSU graduate, will also re-release his nonprofit foundation and announce a special collaboration with the LSU School of Human Ecology’s Textiles, Apparel Design & Merchandising program.
“We’re excited to bring the Louisiana public an event that allows insight into the fashion industry and what it takes to be the next big name in fashion,” said Auld.
