METAIRIE — Two lanes of eastbound Interstate 10 approaching New Orleans from Metairie were shut down due to a multi-vehicle accident just after 6 a.m. Thursday.
One lane reopened by 7:15 a.m., but heavy delays remained a problem. Minor injuries were reported as a result of the accident, which involved an 18-wheeler.
