Vigil For Peace And Healing: 8 p.m. Monday through 9 a.m. Tuesday, Agame Yoga and Meditation Center, 635 S. Acadian Thruway, Baton Rouge, in memory of lives recently lost in Connecticut and all who are grieving. The schedule includes teens and adults sharing experiences and processes while children ages 5 to 12 participate in peaceful practices for children at 8 p.m., a candlelight peace vigil at 9 p.m., “Beginning Anew — A Practice for Peaceful Living” at 10 p.m., winter solstice service for release and renewal with tea and snack from 11 p.m. to 1 a.m., mediation for peace rotating between sitting meditation, lying meditation and walking mediation from 1 a.m. to 6 a.m., a walk for peace down Capitol Heights from 6 a.m. to 7 a.m., beginner’s Yoga for peace from 7 a.m. to 8 a.m. and a candlelight peace vigil at 8 a.m.

Bible Theater Interactive Winter Drama Workshops: 10 a.m. to noon on Saturdays, beginning Jan. 19, Eden Park Library, 5131 Greenwell Springs Road, Baton Rouge, with drama training for ages 12 to adult in the areas of acting, simple costuming and public speaking from a Christian perspective.
