Overturned truck snarls I-10 East at La. 30

Interstate-10 East at the La. 30 exit in Gonzales was closed several hours Thursday morning as Gonzales police worked to remove an overturned truck, according to alerts from State Police.

Traffic was backed up for at least four miles and was diverted from La. 30 to La. 44 and back to I-10, according to both State Police and DOTD alerts.

The first alert from State Police came at 9:35 a.m. with the all-clear alert sent at 12:51 p.m.
