Allstate Chief Executive Officer Tom Wilson, Allstate spokesman Dennis Haysbert and Mayor Mitch Landrieu joined community leaders, children and members of the Gentilly Woods neighborhood Wednesday in dedicating the newly constructed Little Hands Playground at Harris Park.

The playground at 4983 Louisa St., inspired by the suggestions of local children, was built with funding from the New Orleans Recreation Department, the Allstate Foundation and the Injury-Free Coalition for Kids.

Harris Playground was the seventh NORDC playground built with financing from the Allstate Foundation.
