Police seek robber
of College Drive store

Baton Rouge police are looking for a man who robbed the Hobby Lobby craft store on College Drive at gunpoint Saturday night, a police spokesman said.

The man walked into the store at 8:35 p.m. brandishing a gun and demanded money, Cpl. L’Jean McKneely said in a news release.

The man grabbed an undisclosed amount of money and left in a dark colored, late model Toyota Corolla, McKneely said.

The robber is described as a 20 to 25-year-old black male with long braids, McKneely said. He was seen wearing a red bandana, black hooded sweatshirt with light blue sleeves, light colored blue jeans, and black or white Nike shoes.

Authorities arrest 15 suspected of DWI

Authorities arrested at least 15 people suspected of driving while intoxicated in East Baton Rouge, including one person for a fourth-offense DWI, and booked them into Parish Prison between 2:30 p.m. Saturday and 2:30 p.m. Sunday, booking records show.
