Touro Infirmary dietitians will lead a free seminar on eating strategies to kick off the New Year with a healthy start Jan. 3 at 5 p.m.
The seminar will be held in the Foucher Room on the second floor of the hospital, 1401 Foucher St.
Learn strategies for weight management and eating habits you can stick with, such as how to monitor serving size and portions and how to track what you eat. The dietitians will also talk about the pros and cons of trendy diets.
Light refreshments will be provided.

Topics will include costs and levels of care in assisted and independent living; regulations and requirements of skilled and residential nursing care; insurance issues, resources to help with expenses and a brief history of Touro’s retirement community, Woldenburg Village.
