VFW, auxiliary hold monthly birthday party

The Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3693 and its auxiliary held the monthly Senior Bingo and Birthday Party Dec. 10 at the post hall on Churchpoint Road in Gonzales.
The December celebration was attended by 117 seniors and people with disabilities. There were four door prizes given out and 24 gifts distributed.
Celebrating December birthdays were Mabel Felps, Liz Fontenot, Joseph E. Lanoux, Felix Mendoza, Gertie Savoy and Lucien Templet.
Celebrating wedding anniversaries were Beverly Dentino, Liz Fontenot and Linda Melancon.
The next Senior Bingo and Birthday Party will be at 1 p.m. Jan. 14.
