DETAILS: Yellow Cab and Guy’s Towing are working with Mockler Beverage/Budweiser to offer a free ride and a free tow to intoxicated drivers. Drivers must be going home, and vehicles being towed must be operable.

Garden tour

Stroll through Rosedown’s historic gardens.

WHAT: Rosedown Plantation State Historic Site’s series of “Garden Tour Fridays.”

DETAILS: Rosedown manager/horticulturist Patricia Aleshire will lead visitors on a look at selected portions of one of the finest early 19th-century gardens. She’ll point out significant heirloom varieties of plantings and focus on both historic and modern cultivation methods and care. The site is open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., except Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Day. Admission is $10, adults (18-61); $8, seniors (62 and over); $4, students (6-17); and free, children 5 and under. Garden only is $5 (ages 18 and over).
