Saturday’s edition of The Advocate has THE guide to Bowl games from Dec. 15 through Jan. 7.

From LSU and Les Miles in the Chick-fil-A Bowl on New Year’s Eve, left, to Mark Hudspeth and Louisiana-Lafayette, and Todd Berry and Louisiana- Monroe, playing in bowl games in-state (New Orleans and Independence, respectively), to the BCS National Championship game on Jan. 7 in Miami between No. 1 Notre Dame and No. 2 Alabama for the crystal ball, The Advocate gives you everything you need to know about the 2012-13 bowl season, which starts Saturday with the New Mexico Bowl and the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl.

It’s BIG.

So big, the guide (Copyright, The Advocate, 2012) is printed on what we call a broadsheet “double truck.” It’s printed on facing pages in the center of The Advocate’s Sports Section and you’ll have to buy The Advocate for Dec. 15 to get the double poster effect in print. For those of us on the web, it’s also a PDF you can open and view on your computer in whatever size you can easily read on a computer monitor.

The link to the REALLY BIG BOWL page can be found near the top of the column just to the right of LSU Coach Les Miles’ photo.
