BR Ballet Theatre’s Nutcracker will take stage this weekend

World-class guest artists Corina Gill and Carlos Molina will make their debut in The Nutcracker—A Tale from the Bayou accompanied by Baton Rouge Ballet Theatre’s pre-professional corps and soloists, the Baton Rouge Symphony Orchestra and more than 300 local children.

Gill is a company dancer with Boston Ballet and has appeared on TV shows House and The Cleaner. Molina is a freelance principal dancer and has danced with the Ballet de Cali Company, Hartford Ballet, American Ballet Theatre and Boston Ballet.

Local dancers cast in the role of Clara are Estelle Crawford, Giselle Doucet, Delaney Dufrene and Emelia Perkins.

The Nutcracker performances will grace the River Center Theatre for the Performing Arts stage at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 15 and 16.
