DENHAM SPRINGS — La. 1030, commonly known as Cockerham Road, will be closed to through traffic from 8 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. Wednesday to Friday, state Department of Transportation and Development officials said Monday.
The closure will stretch from Range Avenue to Robbie Street, as crews install drain pipes, DOTD officials said.
To avoid the construction zone, motorists may take La. 16 to La. 1026 to La. 1030 or may take La. 16 to Centerville Street to Hatchell Lane to La. 1030 as alternate routes, DOTD officials said.
