Lime and Ginger Hens
Serves 4. Recipe is by Julie Kay.
2 to 3 Cornish hens
½ cup lime juice
1 tsp. ground ginger
¼ cup brown sugar
¼ cup light soy sauce
1 tsp. Kosher salt
1. Put Cornish hens into refrigerator overnight. Put into slow cooker in the morning.
2. Mix together lime juice, ginger, brown sugar, soy sauce and salt and pour over hens in cooker.
3. Cook on Low for 6 to 8 hours.
4. Remove to platter and garnish with lime slices.
