It’s not hard to figure out that the Saints aren’t going to win a lot of games — if any — when Drew Brees has a passer rating of 37.6. Even though he finished with 341 yards, they were offset by his career-high five interceptions.
Brees has thrown seven picks in his last two games, which is two more than he had in the previous eight games
combined. He now has a total of 16 for the season — just six shy of the career-high 22 he threw in 2010.
With their playoff hopes all but gone and in the middle of their toughest three-game stretch of the season, the Saints will have to regroup quickly and win their final four games to post a winning record for the fourth season in a row.
