The Louisiana Culinary Institute, 10550 Airline Highway, Baton Rouge, will host a Gingerbread Workshop for Kids at 10 a.m. Saturday.
The workshop is part of the institute’s leisure class series, which also includes upcoming classes on comfort foods, Vietnamese cuisine, hos d’oeuvres, vegetarian cooking, brunch and Spanish cuisine.

NEW ORLEANS — The Southern Food and Beverage Musuem, at the Julia Street Entrance of the Riverwalk Marketplace, will host a homemade bread program for kids at 11 a.m. Saturday.
Children will learn how to make their own bread dough and learn about yeast and how to knead. Registration ends today .
