The program includes fun running games and activities to help third- through eighth-grade girls create healthy habits and serve as leaders in the community. The program concludes with this noncompetitive 5K race that gives the girls a chance to feel a sense of accomplishment. Girls on the Run of Greater Baton Rouge is a nonprofit organization that serves girls in public and private schools. After the race, participants can enjoy a pancake breakfast while listening to music and participating in fun activities. Online registration will be open until Thursday and is $25.
