The Nutrition Services Department of East Jefferson General Hospital will demonstrate, discuss and serve healthful holiday recipes at 11:30 a.m. Thursday in the hospital’s Esplanade 3 Conference Center. The menu is roast turkey breast with orange cranberry sauce, cornbread dressing, green beans with red onions and mustard vinaigrette dressing, and pumpkin mousse parfait.
Hatha flow yoga is taught at the New Orleans Jazz Park visitor center, 916 N. Peters St. in the French Market, Wednesdays and Fridays at 9:15 a.m.
Bring comfortable clothing and your own yoga mat.
The instructor is Susan Landry; meditational jazz piano played by Peter Nu.
Sessions are free and open to the public.
Practice yoga among the sculptures in the Besthoff Sculpture Garden at the New Orleans Museum of Art on Saturday at 8 a.m. $5.
The Blood Center of Southeast Louisiana is seeking donations of whole blood and platelets.

Diabetes Support Group meets at East Jefferson General Hospital on the last Thursday of each month from noon to 1 p.m. Members share information and support each other to promote successful diabetes management.
