ULL adds 2 to its research centers

The University of Louisiana at Lafayette recently announced the addition of two new associate directors of its research centers.

Clay Rives is the new associate director of the National Incident Management Systems and Advanced Technologies (NIMSAT) Institute.

Cian Robinson is the new associate director of the Center for Business & Information Technologies (CBIT). He will also serve as the site director for the Center for Visual and Decision Informatics (CVDI).

Rives is a former deputy director of homeland security for the Governor’s Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness, the university said in a news release.

Robinson is the founder and president of Robinson Ventures, a strategy and development consulting firm, with more than 15 years of experience in the private, government and not-for-profit sectors, the news release said.
