East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s detectives are looking for a man who robbed a Burbank Drive convenience store Saturday evening, a sheriff’s spokeswoman said.
The man entered the Cracker Barrel at 9958 Burbank at 9:30 p.m., pulled out a handgun and demanded money from the cashier, Casey Rayborn Hicks said in a news release. The man ran away after the cashier gave him the money.
The robber is described as a black man believed to be in his 20s, wearing a light gray hooded sweatshirt, white undershirt, dark pants, black tennis shoes and a New York Yankees cap with a sticker on the top of the brim, Hicks said.

Baton Rouge police are looking for a man who held up a Circle K on Plank Road early Monday, a police spokesman said.
The man, armed with a handgun, walked into the Circle K, 4356 Plank Road, about 1 a.m. and demanded money, Cpl. Tommy Stubbs said in a news release. The man then ran from the scene.
The robber is described as a light-skinned black man in his early 20s who is about 5 feet 10 inches tall with a slim build, Stubbs said, and was seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, black jeans and black sneakers, Stubbs said.

Police are investigating a Saturday night incident in which someone shot at a woman’s vehicle while she was driving on Interstate 110 South, a police spokesman said.
The woman was driving in the 1500 block of I-110 around 7:15 p.m. when she heard a loud pop and noticed her passenger side window had shattered, Cpl. Tommy Stubbs said.
The woman kept driving to Iberville Parish because she feared for her safety, Stubbs said.
The woman and her husband contacted the Iberville Parish Sheriff’s Office, which in turn contacted Baton Rouge police, Stubbs said.
Authorities discovered that bullets damaged the window and the car’s passenger side frame, Stubbs said. The woman was not injured, he said.
Police do not have any motives or suspects at this time, Stubbs said.

Authorities arrested at least two people suspected of driving while intoxicated in East Baton Rouge Parish and booked them into Parish Prison between 2:30 p.m. Sunday and 2:30 p.m. Monday, booking records show.
