SCOTT — Work is scheduled to begin Monday on a new roundabout on La. 93 near Interstate 10 in Scott, the Department of Transportation and Development announced Friday.
The roundabout will replace a collection of intersections south of the I-10 interchange where traffic is often backed up.
More than 11,000 vehicles a day pass through the area, according to DOTD.
Motorists can expect lane closures as work progresses on the $2.3 million project, according to DOTD.
