Hornets trade for Carroll, 3 make All-Star Ballot

The New Orleans Hornets traded forward Hakim Warrick to teh Charlotte Bobcats in exchange for guard Matt Carroll.

Carroll, a 6-foot-6 guard in his ninth season out of Notre Dame, has a career average of 6.6 points and 1.9 rebounds.

Warrick, a 6-9 forward who was selected 19th by the Memphis Grizzlies in 2005, averaged 6.4 points and 2.6 rebounds in 35 games with Phoenix last season. He appeared in one game with the Hornets and scored four points in seven minutes. He has a career average of 9.5 points and 4.1 rebounds.

The team also announced the Ryan Anderson, Anthony Davis and Eric Gordon will appear on the 2013 NBA All-Star ballot.
