The A.P. Tureaud Sr. Black Alumni Chapter of the LSU Alumni Association invites the public to its annual Legends Forum from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday in the LSU Union Atchafalaya Room.
This year, the chapter elected to recognize three "legends":
In addition to honoring the legends, the chapter will have a panel discussion, "Affordable Care Act: A Good Thing for the Black Community?" examining President Barack Obama's landmark legislation and the implications for African Americans, chapter Vice President Rachel Emanuel said in an email.
