Nachos for dinner can be a very satisfying meal if you add a few things, and those few things you add can be done well in the slow cooker.

Chicken, salsa, green onions and green chilies can be the nacho topping, garnished with some guacamole and shredded cheese. It’s a meal in itself, the kind that is both filling and has diners going back for more. Add fruit and a salad, and dinner is done quickly and easily.

It can also be a pretty meal by adding fresh salsa to the guacamole, along with the cheese. Color can do a lot for a meal. This is a great dish for teens and younger children, with supervision, to prepare when it is their night for dinner.
