It’s that in-between cooking time that can throw off the balance of any household, even the most well organized. The time between Thanksgiving and Christmas can either be the worst of times or the best of times .

If you love to cook and don’t have a lot of distractions, it’s probably a very enjoyable time. If, on the other hand, you have realized that your shopping is way behind, the children have back-to-back activities, the parties are piling up, the boss comes up with a special project and you forgot to go to the grocery store, it’s probably not so enjoyable.

The slow cooker has plenty of work during those in-between times. The regular dinners are easily handled in the slow cooker before the cook heads out. Coming home to the smell of a cooking dinner is amazing.
