4-H members taking sweet potato orders

Four-H Club members in East and West Feliciana parishes are taking orders through Wednesday for 40-pound boxes of Louisiana sweet potatoes.

The kiln-dried, Evangeline sweet potatoes will be delivered during the second week of November. The cost is $20 per box, with the proceeds to be used for 4-H awards and incentives, transportation costs for members, local scholarships and educational materials.

Orders may be placed with 4-H members in either parish, or East Feliciana residents may call the 4-H office in Clinton at (225) 683-3101.

In West Feliciana Parish, orders will be accepted at the 4-H office in St. Francisville, 5924 Commerce St. Information is available by calling (225) 635-3614.
