Cuban Sandwiches Party-Style
Makes 48. Recipe is from Maria Darden.
2 (24-roll) pkgs. King’s Hawaiian Sweet Rolls, party-size
2 lbs. shredded Roast Pork Shoulder Cuban-Style (see recipe)
2 lbs. sliced honey ham
Dill pickles, hamburger slices
1 lb. sliced Swiss cheese
1. On bottom half of each roll, spread mayonnaise and layer with pork, ham, pickle, cheese and mustard. Replace top half of roll. Repeat with other rolls.
2. Place sandwiches in panini machine warmed to high and grill until cheese melts or wrap the rolls in foil and bake at 350 degrees until the cheese melts, about 15 minutes.
3. Secure with toothpick if desired.
