Harina de Maiz (Polenta)
Serves 12. Recipe is from Maria Darden.
6 1/2 cups Water
1 1/2 tsps. salt
1 1/2 cups Goya Yellow Corn Meal
1 1/2 tbls. butter
1. Bring water to boil in Dutch oven.
2. Add salt and slowly whisk in the cornmeal, stir constantly.
3. When all the cornmeal has been added, lower the heat to medium and continue stirring with wooden spoon constantly to keep cornmeal from sticking to bottom of pot.
4. Add water as needed. Continue to cook for about 30 minutes, stirring constantly. Add butter.
