Aren’t there enough people being killed by drunken drivers and those impaired by alcohol who cause fatal disturbances at home, parties, bars and in communities at large?
If your answer is yes, then why would anyone want to even consider extending hours for the sale of alcohol? This convenience and opportunity will be given to people who could possibly hurt others or break laws and make places unsafe to travel and live?
And in regards to having alcohol at BREC golf courses, let’s be real. There are children who reside in some of these golf-course communities, and they play at the parks and along the streets.
This privilege is not worth the risk.
