Caramel Coconut Apples
Serves 6 to 8. Recipe is by Julie Kay.
1 (14-oz.) pkg. caramels
1 (14-oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
1 cup coconut
4 to 6 apples of choice, cored and sectioned into quarters
1. Put caramels into slow cooker. Add sweetened condensed milk and coconut. Turn cooker to Low and cook for an hour. Stir well until soft.
2. Wash and cut apples into pieces, removing the core.
3. Coat apple pieces with melted caramel/coconut mixture in cooker.
4. Serve on colorful platter with party toothpicks. Garnish with candy corn.
