Louisiana State Police reported alcohol might have been a factor in the single-car crash that killed the vehicle occupant on La. 987-3 early Saturday in West Baton Rouge Parish.
Trooper First Class Russell Graham said Mark Ramoin, 39, of Prairieville ran off the road into a ditch in his 1998 GMC truck, causing the vehicle to overturn several times and hit a utility pole.
Graham said Ramoin, who was not wearing a seat belt, sustained fatal injuries after being ejected.
