NOTES: The Southeastern Conference’s two biggest disappointments meet with one win apiece. “We’re in a desperate situation for a win and I think everybody knows that,” Razorbacks receiver Cobi Hamilton said.... Arkansas lost its first two league games by a combined 110-10. ... Auburn ranks 114th nationally in passing offense, averaging 145 yards a game. Arkansas’ defense is allowing 349 yards a game through the air, ranking 117th. ... Auburn is without suspended wide receiver Quan Bray. That leaves Emory Blake and tight end Philip Lutzenkirchen as the primary receivers.

State’s defense is 13th in scoring (13.2 points per game), 18th in pass efficiency (99.6) and 40th overall (350 yards). ... Freshmen Jalen Whitlow and Patrick Towles will rotate at quarterback for the Wildcats with starter Maxwell Smith sidelined due to an ankle injury. ... State’s offense is averaging nearly 400 yards a game with a balanced attack. Quarterback Tyler Russell is averaging about 215 passing yards, just 30 more than Mississippi State is averaging with its ground game. LaDarius Perkins (395 yards, five TDs) leads State’s running game.

NOTES: Aggies defensive end Damontre Moore has been one of the SEC’s most productive defensive players this season, with 10½ tackles for a loss, including six sacks. ... Redshirt freshman quarterback Johnny Manziel continued his torrid start to the season, completing 29 of 38 passes for 453 yards and three touchdowns last week against the Razorbacks. ... Ole Miss QB Bo Wallace has started all five games this season, throwing for 840 yards and seven touchdowns, but has five of his six interceptions in losses to Alabama and Texas. Backup Barry Brunetti has been effective in limited playing time, completing 19 of 27 passes for 177 yards and a touchdown.

Georgia at South Carolina

NOTES: Georgia ranks first in the SEC in rushing offense (250.4 yards per game) and total offense (536.00) and ranks second in scoring offense (48.20). ... It’s the first time Georgia and South Carolina have played when both teams were ranked in the top 10. ... The Gamecocks are sixth nationally in scoring defense (11.2 points per game) and seventh in rushing defense (77.6 yards per game). South Carolina also added seven sacks to the stat sheet, with seven players getting involved. ... The Gamecocks have 22 sacks through five games, and the 4.4 sacks per game rank second in the nation (behind Tulsa’s 5.2). Jadeveon Clowney has a team-high 5.5 sacks.
