NAME: Deborah Todd

AGE: 57

OCCUPATION: “The Deborah Todd Agency. I’ve been in the media and advertising business since 1977.”

Tell us about what you’re wearing.

“A sapphire blue iridescent faille dress by Joseph Ribkoff that I got at Russo Ross. It has a tucked-waist detail that makes it very comfortable and a wired collar you can adjust. I have several Ribkoff dresses but this is my favorite.”

What’s the best fashion advice you’ve ever gotten?

“Buy classic St. John and wear pearls as often as possible. The Gilded Lily has been creating wonderful pearl necklaces for me for many years.”

What’s your favorite trend right now?

“Bright colors and anything that makes me look taller! I can’t wear really high heels anymore...”

Finish this sentence. I splurge on...

“Shoes, of course.”

I skimp on...

“Nothing when it comes to fashion.”

Are you a shoe or handbag kind of woman?

“Both!”

How many pairs do you own?

“I’m embarrassed to say.”

Name a celebrity whose closet you’d like to raid.

“Ann Romney.”

What’s the one beauty product you can’t live without?

“A good moisturizer.”

What was your worst fashion mistake?

“Hot pants.”

Your house is on fire and you can grab only one thing out of your closet; what would it be?

“My tiara and my Lucchese cowboy boots.”
