The 29th annual Bike MS: Louisiana to benefit the National Multiple Sclerosis Society: Louisiana will be held Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 7.

Cyclists will leave from the University Center at Southeastern Louisiana University in Hammond, 500 West University Ave., at 8 a.m. Saturday and travel to Percy Quin Park in McComb, Miss., for an overnight party. They will return to SLU at 5 p.m. Sunday.

Pink Ribbon

The Pink Ribbon Jam, a celebration of life after cancer, will be from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 7, at the Blue Moon Saloon, 215 East Convent in Lafayette. Admission is $10 during presale and $15 at the door. There will be music, a silent auction, raffle prizes, and food and drink.
