Blue Cheese Cube Steak
Serves 4. Recipe is by Julie Kay.
4 cube steaks
2 medium-sized onions, sliced
6 tbls. Tony Chachere’s gravy mix
1 cup water
1 tbl. black pepper
½ cup crumbled blue cheese
Cooked yellow rice or rice of choice
1. Place cube steaks into slow cooker. Add onions to the top of each one. That will minimize the steaks sticking to each other as they cook.
2. Mix gravy mix and water and pour over all. Sprinkle black pepper.
3. Cook on Low for 6 to 8 hours.
4. Add blue cheese.
5. Serve with yellow rice or rice of choice.
