The New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival is accepting applications for performers wishing to appear at the 2013 festival, April 25-May 5. Approximately 85 percent of the acts that perform at the festival are from Louisiana.
The festival encourages musicians to submit applications online at http://www.nojazzfest.com/apply before midnight Monday, Oct. 1.
Applicants who do not have online access can mail or bring press kits to: New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival, Attn: Music Production, 336 Camp St., Suite 250, New Orleans, LA 70130.
The festival requests only one submission from each group or artist. Press kits must include a recording, bio, photo, press clippings and contact.
An email address is required for application status notification.
