What is it about Labor Day weekend and hurricanes? Seems they just love to blow through as we’re trying to celebrate summer’s last hurrah.
Those rabid women LSU fans affectionately known as the Bengal Belles had to reschedule their kickoff luncheon from Aug. 30 to Sept. 6. I’ll have photos in next Sunday’s column.
Habitat for Humanity’s Pink Tool Belt Bash benefiting its 2012 Women Build has been rescheduled for Sept. 27 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Juban’s Restaurant.
CANstruction, a rather unique event that has local architects flexing their creative muscles to benefit the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank has been rescheduled for Friday at the Louisiana Art & Science Museum. Hope to see you out and about at one of these or the myriad events that make our city a great place to call home.
