Charbroiled Oysters
Serving size depends on the size of your oysters. Plan for two Charbroiled Oysters per person. Recipe is by John Guillory.
Raw oysters, plan for 1 large oyster per tin or 2 to 3 smaller oysters
Garlic powder, to taste
Onion powder, to taste
Salt, to taste
Italian seasoning mix, to taste
Parmesan and romano cheese, to taste
Butter, one pat per tin
1. In a muffin pan, place one or two oysters in each compartment.
2. Season each with salt, garlic powder, onion powder and Italian seasoning.
3. Top each with a pat of butter and place pan on the grill with the grill lid down. After they start to simmer, top each with the grated cheese and continue to cook until the cheese is melted and browns a little.
4. When done, spoon out to small plates and serve immediately.
