Dwight Henry talks to Kevin McQuarn, theadvocate.com's entertainment editor, about his role as Wink in “Beasts of the Southern Wild.” In this film, which takes place in a forgotten but defiant bayou community, a six-year-old girl exists on the brink of orphanhood. Buoyed by her childish optimism and extraordinary imagination, she believes that the natural world is in balance with the universe until a fierce storm changes her reality. “Beasts of the Southern Wild” opens in Baton Rouge on July 27.
