Tangipahoa students cited at ceremony

Area students received Southeastern Louisiana University College of Nursing and Health Sciences’ highest honor, the Dean’s Award, at the college’s annual honors convocation held May 1 in the Student Union Theatre.

The Dean’s Award was presented to Angela Threeton, of Hammond, by the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders.

Tangipahoa Parish students honored at the ceremony were:

Mindy Manzella, the Opal Carl Award in Nursing; Courtney Montreuil, the Graduate Scholar Award in Communication Sciences and Disorders; Angela Threeton, Dean’s Award in Commuication Sciences and Disorders; Henry Rop, the Outstanding Graduate in Health Education and Promotion; and Nancy Dardis Webb, Graduate Scholar Award in Kinesiology and Health Studies. All are from Hammond.
