Letter: What will Jindal, gurus do with empty fund?

As I understand it Gov. Bobby Jindal’s fiscal mismanagement (no plans for raising state revenue, the continuation of lucrative corporate tax breaks, the repeal of the Stelly Plan etc.) could force the state to dip into the “raining day fund” to cover the present year’s budget short fall and to plug gaps in next year’s proposed operating budget.

I have one question for “King Bobby”and his legislative “yes” men. How do they plan to replenish the “state’s rainy day fund”?

I hope the legislators in Baton Rouge will muster enough courage to demand a fiscal plan from the governor’s financial gurus to address this issue, but if past behavior is any indication, they will just rubber stamp whatever Jindal presents to them.
