Fire-Roasted Italian Steak

Serves 4 to 6. Recipe is by Julie Kay.

1 (2- to 4-lb.) round steak or thinly sliced sirloin, cut into strips or pieces

½ (10-oz.) pkg. frozen seasoning blend (onions, celery, green and red bell peppers)

1 (8-oz.) pkg. fresh mushrooms, sliced

½ tsp. rosemary

½ tsp. Italian seasoning

½ tsp. basil

1 (24-oz.) jar Newman’s Own Fire Roasted Tomato and Garlic sauce

1. Place round steak, seasoning blend, mushrooms, and seasonings into slow cooker.

2. Pour sauce over all and cook on Low for 6 to 8 hours.

3. Serve over pasta of choice.
