Billy K’s Gourmet French Bread
Serves 6 to 8. Recipe provided by Sarah Losavio.
2 loaves French bread, split lengthwise
1 stick butter softened
2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
1 to 2 tbls. olive oil
1 small can chopped ripe olives, drained
6 green onions (tops and bottoms), finely chopped
¼ tsp. garlic salt or slightly more to taste, or a little garlic powder
1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
2. Blend all the ingredients together thoroughly and spread the mixture on the bread. Bake the bread until cheese melts, about 10 minutes. Serve warm.
