Dr. Edward Jeffries has been named chief operating officer for Baton Rouge General Physicians. Jeffries also is chief medical officer, a position he has held since 2009.

Amanda de la Torre has been named vice president of operations at Burns & Co. Inc/Realtors. She has been in residential real estate since 1999 and had worked at the Center for Planning Excellence.

William Harsha has joined Dunanvat Global Logistics Group as director of business development, based in Baton Rouge to expand the company’s presence in Gulf Coast markets. William was the national account manager for Access America Transport in Chattanooga, Tenn.


Amy P. Fennell has been named director of training, education and development at Latter & Blum Inc. Fennell was vice president of business and professional development for the Louisiana Realtors Association.

Sherri McConnell, of McConnell and Associates Consulting, has been named chairman of the Louisiana Cultural Economy Foundation’s board.

She has served on the board since April 2012.

Whitney Bank has promoted to vice presidents Holly Carpenter, program portfolio manager in corporate services, Frank Collins, loan workout specialist in credit administration, and Jennifer Fradella, senior decisions support analyst in finance, all three in New Orleans; Shelley D’Antoni, Gause Boulevard branch manager in retail banking, and Corey Johnson, business banker in retail banking, both in Slidell; Nancy O’Neill, Collins Boulevard branch manager in retail banking, Gary Sprague, senior business process consultant in retail banking, both in Covington; and Lori Pausina, Causeway branch manager in retail banking, in Mandeville.

David Robison has been promoted to chief financial officer at Audubon. He was vice president of finance. Robison will continue to be responsible for all financial and accounting functions and will now oversee Audubon’s information technology department. With headquarters in New Orleans and Houston, the company has four affiliate companies: Audubon Engineering, Cimation, Audubon Field Solutions and Affinity.


Dr. Luis A. Meza has been named medical director for the hyperbaric medicine program at The Regional Medical Center of Acadiana. Meza is a Lafayette physician who specializes in hematology/oncology.
