The Next Generation Summer Enrichment Program will be hosting its Second annual Step Show, “Leaving It On the Stage.” on Saturday at 7 p.m. at the White Castle Community Center, 32725 Bowie St.
The event will be hosted by comedian Howard Hall.

High school students from East Iberville High and the Math, Arts and Science Academy-East are operating a free Tax Center at the St. Gabriel Community Center as part of the campuses’ service learning programs.
The students are IRS-certified in basic and intermediate levels for tax preparation under the instruction of business teacher Tracy Warren.
The Tax Center is open on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. and every other Saturday from 9 a.m. until noon.

The West Baton Rouge Museum invites the public to its family workshop, “Freedom is Coming: Underground Railroad,” scheduled Saturday for 10:30 a.m.-noon.
The program offers musical performances, storytelling, a small-craft project and light talk about music associated with the Underground Railroad. The event is free.
St. Michael the Archangel High School’s Jazz Ensemble, led by band director Kevin Andry, will perform at the Julien Poydras Museum Center, 500 W. Main St., New Roads, at 7:30 p.m. Friday.
Individual tickets are $28 for adults, $10 for students and $75 for three performances.

St. Augustine Catholic Church invites the public to its annual fried-fish fundraisers scheduled on consecutive Fridays through March 22.
Fried-fish plates will be served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the church hall.

Corona, who serves on the board of the organization, said “Lunch and Learn” will be held in late February or early March.
Anyone with Alzheimer’s or who is a relative or caregiver of someone with Alzheimer’s may attend the sessions.
